RRS, you speak so well, I recently had an American "B____" dump me as we arrived at a concert because it became apparent dinner was just modent sandwiches, fruit salad and wine catered by the hosts, and not some $150 New York City-dinner! Love live the Putas, if only the US was as free thinking. As soon I get enough independent income to live in CR for $1500 a month, I am OUT OF HERE!

Firstable, most of americans who come my country are not educated or losser. Most of them go to Hotel del Rey looking for a girl and they know exactly what are they looking for. Reason? They feel alone and of course they don´t want or the can´t pay more for a girl.
Then, when they starting "love the system" they want to go out with the girl. What are the expectations? Not pay nothing next time because in their dreams are kind of "Brad Pitt".
If is not your case it is too simple. If you looking a serious relationship not go to El Rey to look a "good girl", pay for dinner in a good Restaurant and look educated girl. You will see the difference
You are exactly right – everything you just said is true – alot of men who come to CR don't want a serious relationship they just want something they can't get at home, sex from a beautiful girl half their age, the girl who was left high and dry by her Tico boyfriend has to support her 3 kids, with no education and no job – sex for sale seems like a deal for both – the stories about Ticas cheating on their Gringo boyfriends have become such common knowledge that the only Gringo that goes to CR for true love is in fact in your words losers.

A Girl Friend for an hour might be a time limit for the lady. I have found most can not keep the fantasy going for an overnight, or a few days. Pay as you go for 1-2hrs. is better than the all included sub-standard 24hr deal. A real beauty might be out there, but while your waiting, just do a few while waiting. In the beach at Jaco, in the men's room at the Del Rey, and every other little corner. Enjoy, and don't get overly mind-Fu*ked. This is a amusement ride of a mature nature.
I would love to know if there is a place In San Jose that is anything like Passions in Sosua. Passions gets women who will spend the night – so you know you will not wake up dead or lacking your keys, cash, etc. I would love to go to Sosua, but medical tourism dictates my next vacation is to San Jose.
